PeaceQuilts Touring Museum Exhibition
Patience to Raise the Sun is now on view at The New England Quilt Museum

Despite the horrific devastation in Haiti, the women of the PeaceQuilts cooperatives have found strength and support by gathering together to work.  It is a testament to their resilience and sense of purpose.  This spirit is beautifully exemplified in the exhibition Patience to Raise the Sun, now touring nationally. The exhibit opened October 20 at the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, MA.

The Voila Foundation
supports the work of PeaceQuilts in Haiti

Thanks to the Voila Foundation in Haiti, many of PeaceQuilts cooperatives are now connected to the internet.  Communication is vital to the development of independent, self-managed businesses, and allows the cooperatives to coordinate their activities, supplies and marketing both with the PeaceQuilts organization in the US, and with each other.

Our sincere thanks to The Voila Foundation and Trilogy Partners!

”The Voilà Foundation is committed to utilize its resources to work on  projects that will rebuild human and economic resources in ways that are scalable, durable, and far-reaching. We focus our efforts on three areas that combine our knowledge of technology with Haiti’s long term needs: using information communication capabilities to stimulate economic growth; creating jobs through skills training, sponsoring entrepreneurs and supporting education. ”
